What Summer is all About

While Daddy was watching the soccer game on Saturday Mommy and Olivia hung out by the pool... isn't that what summer is all about?

Cousins

A couple of weeks ago, when we had all of the grandbabies together for the first time, my amazing friend Annie was kind enough to take some cousin pictures. We had orginally planned to take these outside, but it rained buckets and buckets that day. Oh well-these still turned out super cute...

Summer in full Swing

Summer is in full swing and I am behind on blogging. Too many fun things going on!! We spent this last weekend in Park City. It wasn't quite the relaxing weekend I had planned since Olivia woke up Friday night running a 102 degree temperature complete with croupy cough and runny nose, but we had a great time. At the Silly Sunday Market (downtown Park City) Olivia got to play some drums. If she would have been feeling better she would have absolutely loved it. This girl has got more rhythm in her little pinky than her mom and dad have in their whole bodies.

We painted our toenails... Olivia wasn't too sure what to think about this, but mommy thought the painted piggies were sure cute.

We did lots of swimming...

Last week my sister from Cincinatti brought Sophie and Evan for a visit. We decided to go to the Art City Day carinval. The only problem was the rain that got worse as the night progressed. Despite the rain and cold (It is June-who would have thought we would be wearing coats and gloves) I think everyone had a fun time:

New Friend

Olivia has a new friend named Elmo. We have established somewhat of a routine in the mornings- Livy wakes up around 6:30, we get a sippy cup of milk, and she sits on the bed with daddy (who is sleeping) and watches Elmo on Sesame Street. She dances and laughs and I can't pull her away. The last couple of mornings the first thing out of her mouth is Elmo... I think she's hooked.

Memorial Day

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend. My friend Abbey and her mom from Boise came to visit for a few days. Then on Sunday night Jon, Brittany, and Emma came to visit. The girls had so much fun playing together. On Monday we took the girls to the Lehi pool. It was a little cold, but Olivia had a blast.
