The French Quarter is only a 15 minute walk from our hotel and since it was another 70 degree day (and I really needed to get out of the hotel for a while) we decided it was the perfect way to spend the morning. We walked down Decanter Street to Jackson Square, saw the St. Louis Cathedral, ate beignets (french donuts) at Cafe Du Monde, watched boats on the Mississippi, and checked out the flea market. Olivia slept the entire time even with the loud Jazz music, the boat horns, and crowds of people.

Olivia gets cuter every time I see her! She's such a doll.
That food looked delicious. =)
Food for thought: Ergo baby carriers are the bomb. They carry babies from 5 to 40 lbs. If you don't have a good carrier already, it's worth looking into. I love mine.
oh so jealous that you guys got to go to cafe Du Monde. Enjoy your time there. The weather is not exactly like that back here! Anyway idea what is going on with you paperwork and when you get to come home?
What is happening with the paperwork? Have you heard anything? Do they check on you at the hotel? I have never done this so I am curious about the entire adoption process from the birth to the get to come home to after that parts. Do you have an assigned social worker? Have they given you any idea when you get to bring that sweetheart home?
I love your pictures by the way! I miss the sunshine! Today they said 6-8 inches of snow on the valley floors. Enjoy the time away.
Scott looks GOOD with a stroller!! I want to see some pics of YOU with Olivia :)
